Tsunami Education Series

The Indian Ocean Tsunami Information Centre (IOTIC) of IOC UNESCO developed four new tsunami education materials in the form of short video animations.

The four video animations are titled: 

1. Tsunami Preparedness
2. Tsunami Early Warning System
3. Tsunami Evacuation 
4. Tsunami Survival Strategy

The development of these education materials were funded by Indonesian government through the Indonesian Funds in Trust framework. These animated videos were showed for the first time at International Indian Ocean Tsunami Conference in November 2014 and officially launched at the Aceh Tsunami Museum in Banda Aceh in line with the 10th commemoration of Aceh Tsunami on 26 December 2014.

These animated videos are now permanently displayed at the Aceh Tsunami Museum and downloadable through IOTIC website.
